Report a Listing

1. What You May Report
You may report concerns involving:
- False or misleading business information
- Impersonation of another person or business
- Expired, suspended, or false license or insurance claims
- Fraudulent pricing, discounts, or service claims
- Unlawful or unsafe services
- Threats, harassment, discrimination, or abusive conduct
- Stolen, unauthorized, or misleading images
- Copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights violations
- Fake or unrelated third-party review links
- Malware, phishing, suspicious links, or deceptive websites
- Misuse of customer information
- Spam or unrelated solicitation
- Duplicate listings used to manipulate visibility
- Any other violation of the Terms of Service or Listing Standards
2. Information to Include
Please provide as much of the following information as reasonably available:
- Provider or business name
- Link to the listing or page
- Description of the concern
- Dates or approximate dates
- Relevant screenshots or documents
- Names of the services or claims involved
- Any communication received from the provider
- Your contact information, if you want a response
3. Supporting Evidence
Helpful evidence may include screenshots, public records, license-verification results, copies of communications, invoices, photographs, or links to relevant information.
Submitting evidence does not guarantee a particular decision, but clear and specific information may help Tidy NY City review the concern.
4. Confidentiality
Tidy NY City will make reasonable efforts to limit unnecessary disclosure of the reporter’s information.
Information may still be disclosed when reasonably necessary to investigate the report, respond to the affected provider, comply with law, protect users, or address a legal claim.
5. Review Process
Tidy NY City may review the listing, account information, payment status, communications, audit records, links, images, credentials, and other relevant information.
Tidy NY City may contact the reporter, provider, customer, payment processor, website host, licensing authority, or another relevant party when reasonably necessary.
6. Possible Outcomes
Depending on the facts, Tidy NY City may:
- Take no action
- Request clarification or correction
- Remove or edit a link, image, keyword, service, or claim
- Hide a public listing
- Suspend bidding access
- Restrict or terminate an account
- Preserve records for fraud, security, payment, or legal purposes
- Refer suspected unlawful conduct to a payment processor, financial institution, licensing authority, or law-enforcement agency
Listing visibility, bidding access, payment verification, and account status are separate controls. Action affecting one status may not automatically affect every other status.
7. No Guaranteed Outcome
Submission of a report does not guarantee removal, suspension, refund, reimbursement, investigation, disclosure of findings, or a particular result.
Tidy NY City may be unable to disclose details about an investigation or another user’s account.
8. False or Abusive Reports
Reports must be submitted in good faith.
Knowingly false, retaliatory, harassing, fraudulent, or abusive reports may be disregarded and may result in restrictions on platform access.
9. Emergencies and Immediate Danger
For immediate danger, suspected criminal activity, threats of violence, fire, medical emergencies, or urgent safety concerns, contact the appropriate emergency service or law-enforcement agency.
10. Service and Payment Disputes
Tidy NY City is not a party to agreements between customers and independent providers.
Reports may help us review platform participation, but Tidy NY City does not guarantee that it can resolve workmanship, deposit, refund, scheduling, property-damage, or payment disputes between users.
11. Intellectual-Property Reports
A report concerning copyright, trademark, image ownership, or another intellectual-property right should identify:
- The protected material
- The allegedly infringing listing or content
- The reporter’s relationship to the rights holder
- A description of the requested action
- Supporting documentation or links
12. Privacy Reports
A report involving private information should identify the listing or content and explain why the information should not be displayed.
Do not reproduce sensitive information unnecessarily within the report.

Include the provider or business name and the URL of the listing whenever possible.
